All Demco eZ-Latch couplers are tested and rated without the use of a safety pin and are not required for the couplers to be used in safe operation. A security hole is available on all the eZ-Latch couplers to be used in correlation with a Lock for theft deterrence.

Demco Cast Plate-Mount 2-5/16" Coupler
The lunette ring is much more robust then the Demco, the bolt holes on the hitch are noticeably smaller the the holes in the trailer tongue, will need spacers. l think l will return it for that reason.

We have this coupler on a few trailers work really well holding up to all the abuse.... we do use lots of gease as well
Take FedEx off your shipping choices.... they had it over a week an I went down there twice to pick it up cause they stuck and don't no how to deliver packages..... that's my only complaint..... coupler is awesome thanks
