Easily replaces surge brakes, air/hydraulic & vacuum/hydraulic systems on trailer. Simply mount the Dexter Actuator to the trailer and attach the hydraulic line. The Dexter Actuator engages trailer brakes when the tow vehicle brake pedal is applied or when the in cab controller override is activated. The pressure output to the brakes corresponds directly with voltage output from the brake controller to deliver smooth, proportional braking.
