Wireless communication between the remote hand unit and the trailer power module eliminates the need for a dash mounted, hard wired brake control. Easy to see LED display shows trailer brake voltage, power output and diagnostics. The easy to use remote hand control has a "boost" system to allow for different levels of customized braking. The hand unit plugs into any standard 12 volt power accessory adaptor. Power saving mode reduces drain on battery when vehicle is not in use. This unit is a true proportional braking system, in forward or reverse. No level adjustment necessary. Suitable for use with up to 6 brakes. 5th Wheel and Gooseneck applications require specific mounting locations. Power module uses standard RV blade style 7-way truck and trailer connectors. Trailer power module is watertight and includes a sealed 8' long 7-way vehicle connector. Module is powered through 7-way cable from the tow vehicle. If the unit is drawing more then 20 amps during a braking event the auxiliary power to the trailer is temporarily shut down.
