Hard Refresh on a Single Web Page
How to force a hard refresh on a single web page.
All you have to do is press the following hotkeys:
- Google Chrome (on Windows & Linux): CTRL + F5
- Google Chrome (on Mac): Command + Shift + R
- Apple Safari: Command + Option + R
- Microsoft Edge: CTRL + F5
- Mozilla Firefox (on Windows & Linux): CTRL + F5
- Mozilla Firefox (on Mac): Command + Shift + R
- Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + Delete
- Opera (on Windows): Shift + F5
- Opera (on Mac): Command + Alt + R
A Step-by-Step Guide to Clear Browser Cache in Major Browsers
Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome
- At the top right, click the three-dotted menu button ()
- Click on Clear browsing data
- Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time
- Select the types of information you want to remove
- Click Clear data
Safari
- On your computer, open Safari
- At the top left, click Safari, then Clear History
- In the Clear field choose All History
- Click Clear History
Edge
- At the top right, click the three-dotted menu button (...)
- Click History
- Click on the Trash Can Icon
- Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time
- Click the Clear Now button
Firefox
- Click the menu button to open the menu panel
- Click History and select Clear Recent History
- Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time
- Select Cache
- Click the Clear Now button
